

EWORLD adopts the following principals in serving our Customers:
OUR CORPORATE BUSINESS ETHICS & BRIBERY POLICY
EWORLD has elected to adopt the highest Business Ethics standard in the conduct of company business. The standards encompass all dealings between EWORLD and third parties including our Customers, suppliers, governments and local authorities. As a consequence, EWORLD management requires that all financial statements, reports and billings to its Customers must properly and accurately reflect all facts about the activities and transactions handled for the Customers.
It is expressly noted here that in compliance with the PREVENTION OF BRIBERY ORDINANCE (CAP. 201), any part of any commission or discount allowed to EWORLD shall not be paid by EWORLD to any Director, Partner, Employee of the Customer as an inducement to place the business with EWORLD unless the prior agreement and approval of the Customer is received in writing.
It is further note that offering or giving any gratuity, bonus, discount, bride, loan or any other gift or consideration as an inducement or reward to any employee of our Customers are strictly prohibited by EWORLD and may constitute an offence. EWORLD shall require its employees who are involved in the policy placement or renewal confirmation to declare in writing to EWORLD and the Customers concerned any conflict or potential conflict between their personal interests and their duties. In the event such potential conflict is disclosed in a declaration, EWORLD shall take all reasonable measures as necessary to mitigate as far as possible or remove the conflict or the potential conflict so disclosed.
OUR PERSONAL DATA POLICY
EWORLD is committed to ensuring that our Customers are confident that any personal data collected by us is treated with the appropriate degree of confidentiality and privacy and is in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("PDPO"). EWORLD may collect our Customer's personal data directly when the Customer completes certain forms and registrations, including when applying for our recommended insurers' products and services (whether through the internet, mobile device applications or otherwise) and when our Customer provides us with its personal data in its correspondence and other communications with us.
We will collect and use Personal Data for the Purposes of (1) providing competitive insurance products and services to our Customers, including considering our Customer application(s) for any new insurance policies and administering new or existing policies to be taken out with EWORLD and our recommended insurer, arranging the cover and administering and managing our and our Customers rights and obligations in relation to such cover; (2) to communicate with our Customer and (3) to meet the requirements to verify our Customers identity and to make disclosure as required by any law, including but not limited to any anti-money laundering law.
Personal Data will be kept confidential and EWORLD will not sell our Customer's Personal Data to any third party. EWORLD limits the disclosure of our Customers Personal Data but for the Purposes and subject to the provisions of any applicable law. EWORLD may transfer our Customers Personal Data to (1) third parties who assist EWORLD to achieve the purposes set out above. For example, EWORLD provides it to our relevant staff and insurers, agents and others involved in the above purposes such as data processors, professional advisers, loss adjudicators and claims investigators, doctors and other medical service providers, emergency assistance providers, insurance reference bureaus or credit reference bureaus, and government agencies; (2) where compelled by law, any governmental authority, including, without limitation, any tax authority, and to other entities for the purposes of public safety and law enforcement; and Where EWORLD, complelled by law, transfer our Customer personal data outside of Hong Kong, EWORLD will take reasonable steps and procedures to ensure the privacy of our Customers information and to ensure that the recipient of our Customers personal data has in place policies and procedures. Transfer of our Customers personal data will only be made for the Purposes.
OUR PUBLICITY POLICY
It is expressly noted that EWORLD shall not print, publish or distribute, or cause to be printed, published or distributed any book, advertisement, pamphlet or any document or via internet disclosing the name of our Customer unless the written approval of the Customer is received.
OUR COMMISSION DISCLOSURE POLICY
EWORLD Insurance Brokers Limited is an authorized and licensed insurance brokers in Hong Kong and is remunerated for its services by the receipt of commission paid by the insurers. Our customers agreement to proceed with our recommended insurance transaction shall constitute our Customers consent to the receipt of commission by EWORLD.
